The diving centre is ideally located at the very heart of the action right on Beau Vallon Beach on Mahé Island in Seychelles, near the marine reserve, and enjoys access to the most beautiful dive sites of the island which will leave you breathless.
Our educational training allow us to follow you from your first baptism to professional training. We will advise you the most suitable course and you will be followed by our multi-lingual instructors.
Supervision is provided by qualified professional instructors at all times.
Our team will help you make the most of your dives in a safe and friendly environment.
Diving in Seychelles
With 115 islands scattered in the blue sea, between 4° and 10° south of the Equator, the Seychelles offer the possibility to make the diving very different and very impressive.
The Inner Islands are the remains of a submerged mountain range that rely on a shallow platform, where there is a varied and prolific marine life.
It is possible to dive all year round but the quality of dive sites varies depending on prevailing winds.
In general, the best conditions for diving occur during the transition periods of April / May and October / November. The water temperature is 29 º C and visibility extends beyond 30 metres.
In December and January the trade winds blow from the north-west, but conditions remain comparable to those periods of calm, with the exception of a greater movement of the turbidity of surface waters.
From May to September stron winds blow from the South-East. Especially in August, visibility is reduced and the water is colder (25 ° C). A wetsuit of at least 4 mm is recommended.
The Seychelles offer impressive granite cliffs, sculpted by the sea with rocks covered with soft corals and sponges and a prolific marine wildlife, due to strict environmental protection measures.
The depth of dives vary from 8 to 20 meters for sites near the coast and up to 40 meters for open water dives and wrecks.
The marine flora and fauna of the nearby islands (inner islands) also reveal an abundance of fish on reefs near the coast: several species of butterfly fish, angelfish, emperor, soldier fish, squirrel fish, parrot fish and glass fish are just some species among many. The cliffs also hide many species of invertebrates among which there are octopus, lobster and a plethora of nudibranchs such as Spanish dancers.
Sites where there is always current you will see growing gorgonian and colorful coral formations while in more remote sites you will find bigger species such as big napoléons, giant groupers, reef sharks and rays.
Among the most spectacular species, whale sharks encircle the islands from June to December, especially in September and October.
Our Boats
Join us on our 12 and 10 catamarans boat, and let yourself be guided by our team of multi-lingual professionals CEDIP – FFESSM – PADI and DAN EUROPE Instructors to the discover of the underwater marine life of Seychelles.
Equipment
The center provides customers with a wide range of quality equipment.
The filling station includes:
1 BAUER compressor with a filter system for air quality beyond reproach.
32 tanks of 12 liters in steel and aluminum with INT and DIN valves
4 tanks of 8 liters for children.
20 complete Beuchat equipments (men, women and children).
1 area for training lessons for FFESSM, CEDIP, CMAS and PADI.

Dive with us
In small groups.
At your own pace : full days or half days.
In accordance with your wishes : scuba diving, snorkeling or BBQ excursions.
In accordance with your certification : discovery, full course, exploration.
We leave everyday at 9am from the Dive Centre for TWO DIVES and come back to the Centre at about 12.30.
In the afternoon we leave at 2pm for ONE DIVE and come back at about 3.30pm to the Centre.
All dive sites are decided day by day accordingly to weather and sea conditions and surely we will do our best in order to make your diving in Seychelles unforgettable!
Our dives sites are maximum 15/20 minutes by boat from the Dive Centre for ”short distance” and a little bit more for the “long distance” ones. Please see map a with all dive sites
The dive sites are also subject to your personal training according to the patent in your possession.
No need of a medical certificate. When you will start diving with us you will fill up a disclaimer form unless you are suffering from any particular disease.
If you are accommodated in a hotel or guest house in the Beau Vallon area you will have a free transfer on the first and last day for the transport of your diving equipment and, if the property is located at more than 5 minutes walk, you will also benefit from free transport to / from hotel to our center for the whole duration of your stay.
Diving Cruises
Welcome on board!
The growing interest in diving cruises in the Seychelles has led us to establish a special itinerary for divers in the heart of the archipelago. You’ll enjoy the most beautiful diving spots aboard our Galatea, a spacious, comfortable and fully equipped schooner. In order to discover these spots, we have set our point of departure and arrival at Mahé.
You will sail in the turquoise, emerald green or deep blue waters of Praslin, La Digue, Curieuse, Little Sister and Grand Sister. With an average temperature of 27 ° C, these islands are home of a great diversity of flora and fauna.
Seychelles invites you to relax with a tropical climate throughout the year, its lush vegetation and pristine beaches of white sand.
